Bowl Shape
Horoscope Chart Shapes

All planets (including Pluto) are distributed in just one half of the horoscope at about 180° (± max 15°).
The planets on the edge of a bowl create a demarcation line, they are the "contact" themes with the missing half world.

Bowl Characteristics

Me and you ... Me and the Rest of the World (the other world)
This horoscope shape is associated with interpersonal relationships. In addition to the theme of Me and You, it also involves the theme of Me and the Rest of the World.
It is sort of an anchorage; fulfilment will be achieved in the themes of signs and houses in which the planets are placed. However the person with this shape always feels that there is something important still missing, his or her "other half".
They are looking for something that will make them complete. They often do that subconsciously through their partner (even a platonic one) or someone close. Without them, they cannot seem to be able to move forward. In the relationship, however, the bowl is too "tilted" and the person is not able to distinguish the boundary between himself and the other person. This person can therefore be very possessive and dependent at the same time. As a result, the expressions of this person are ambivalent (they know and do not know, they want and do not want, they love and reject, etc.).

The demarcation line - the missing half of life
The planets on the edge of a bowl create a demarcation line, they are the "contact" themes with the missing half (life, world).
The themes of the boundary planets can lead to certain obsessions. However, they are still the key to becoming complete. They bring life-giving energy.
The temporary shape of a Bucket Handle:
During transits of slow planets (Pluto, Neptune, Uranus) the unoccupied half of the horoscope can create a temporary shape of the bucket handle to which life energy is temporarily "subordinated".
Examples of the Bowl Shape:
- A great example the Bowl Shape is Paul Cezanne, who saw "the entire world" in the changes of the "Mont Sainte-Victoire" bowl mountain, which he drew again and again.
- Another good example is Alfred Hitchcock who was dependent on his life-long partner Alma and who used his imagination to obsessively "spy" into the lives of others.
The courage to make a new important step in life
These people cannot find the completeness in ownership (of activity, subject, person, pet, or anything else) so they must learn to trust divine or cosmic unity.
These people have to learn to give up their old behaviours and things and find the courage to make a next life step into open space of new opportunities.
